Imagery from June is now available! Currently it is only found in a few states of the United States.
Colombia got its first February and March 2022 coverage and Brazil finally got its first May 2022 imagery.
On Friday Google updated the future coverage list, adding Sharjah and Ajman for the United Arab Emirates. The entry for Halkidiki, Greece, was also extended from May to June.
Another car was spotted south of Lima in Peru, making the number of confirmed cars going up to two. Comments suggest Google is driving in Peru for more than a month already. This means new imagery could be published as soon as this summer.
Speaking of newly updated countries, this week didn’t see any country getting its first gen 4 update. However, starting from next week, the probabilities to have gen 4 introduced to new countries are going to increase. Continuous Updates
Last week updates were found in 21 countries. Some interesting updates are rural roads in uncovered areas of North Dakota, USA, and other countries such as Brazil, Chile or Colombia getting more updated areas.
