Main Events
- Peru got interesting updates with new main roads being added in departments getting their first gen 4 coverage.
- August 2022 coverage is now available in Australia, Czechia (from a German car), Estonia, Ireland, Mexico, Slovenia, Sweden, Taiwan and Turkey.
- No list update happened this week. Qatar is still not visible however it is planned to start in September so the list may be updated to reflect this in the next weeks.
Continuous Updates
Last week updates were found in 26 countries.
The most important update happened in Peru. A couple of main roads were added in the departments of Ayacucho and Junin.
New departments also received their first gen 4 coverage: Ayacucho, Huancavelica, La Libertad and Pasco.
The map shows the new roads in purple and the existing coverage in blue. Note that some of those already covered roads also got updates. Imagery is mostly from June 2022.
Estonia got its first 2022 coverage, made during this month. This confirms Estonia has continuous updates enabled and will receive more updates in the next weeks.
In Czechia a few roads close to borders were updated with August 2022 data. While Google does not drive cars in this country for unknown reasons, cars from Germany crossed the borders and recorded some roads. This also shows continuous updates are enabled there.
