Main Events
Last week had a lot more activity than the previous one. More updates happened but most importantly, Lithuania got its first update since its first release back in 2013! Imagery from 2014 to 2021 is finally accessible. You can read more in this dedicated article.
The first coverage from July 2022 is not available since last week’s Monday. Initially limited to greater Los Angeles in California, USA, it can now be found in the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Taiwan. Australia and New Zealand also got their first June 2022 coverage.
A Google Street View Car spotted in Rondônia. The last time Google visited this Brazilian state was ten years ago. The BR-364 highway that links the Amazonian part of the country to the rest still misses coverage, cutting the country in half. Maybe this gap will finally be filled.

Continuous Updates
Last week updates were found in 31 countries.
As said above, Lithuania is the main event with its first update since 2012. Also, thanks to a Google car coming from Lithuania, it is now confirmed that Latvia has continuous updates. A few pictures from June 2022 were published on the border. Lithuania still don’t have any 2022 imagery published yet.
The Scottish islands are also receiving great updates. The Orkney islands were updated a lot and the Shetlands are following next since a car was spotted there.
Other notable updates are in Brazil with many new areas covered in the states of Pará, Tocantins and Piauí, new additions in Turkey especially near Konya or new covered islands in northern Norway,
