Every time Google updates the list of places that are going to be covered by the Street View cars we do a brief summary of what changed and see if new places are coming on Street View.
In this update we can find changes in a few countries:
The state of Goiás and and the city of Brasilia (Federal District) were added to the list. Nothing special to say outside of a few listed cities having an incomplete coverage that may be completed.
A second entry was added which looks like a duplicate. However this may indicate different kind of coverage: regular and off-road (trekker or indoor). This would be the same for Singapore’s duplicate entries.
The prefecture of Hiroshima was added and the entry of the prefecture of Ehime was updated (Shikokuchuo replacing Imabari in the listed cities).
This country got the most additions with many new states listed: Baja California, Baja California Sur, San Luis Posotí, Campeche, Chiapas, Coahuila, Durango, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Tabasco, Zacatecas, Tamaulipas, Sonora (still written as “Sonroa”) and Tlaxcala. The state of Quintana Roo is also internally added for later this year.
Like for the other countries almost everything is already covered, however we can still get a more complete coverage or updates in places that have very old coverage.
That’s all for this time. See you on the next list update!
